There’s something special about summer on the Gulf Coast. The longer days, salty air, and endless blue skies just beg for two wheels and an open road. Around here, when the temps go up, the riding season hits full throttle. Whether you’re rolling down Scenic Highway 98, cruising out to Fort Pickens, or heading for a beachside bite with your crew, there’s no better time to fire up your Harley and hit the road.
At Pensacola Harley-Davidson, we’re just as pumped as you are about summer riding. But before you gear up and go, here are a few tips, reminders, and ideas to help you make the most of the season, and maybe even upgrade your ride along the way.
Start the season off right: give your bike a checkup
If your bike’s been sitting for a bit or you’re getting back into the groove, now’s a great time for a quick once-over. Hot weather can be hard on your engine, tires, and fluids, so make sure everything’s in top shape before your first big ride. Check your tire pressure, inspect your brakes, and top off your oil and coolant.
Or, even better, bring it by the service team here at Pensacola Harley-Davidson. We’ll give it a summer-ready tune-up so you can ride with confidence all season long.
